This is what large-format printing looks like when it is taken seriously. For this government tourism campaign, we printed and installed the "Labuan Pearl of Borneo" mural across the entire facade of Hotel Labuan — a multi-storey building-wrap visible from the street, from across the field, and from the sea. The print was so large it had to be quality-checked flat on the floor of a covered sports stadium before installation. Every panel joined precisely. Every colour reproduced true to the original artwork. The result became a landmark that defined how Labuan presented itself to the world.
When Expro needed their brand presence felt inside their Labuan office, they needed something that matched the scale of what they do. We printed and installed a full stairwell-height indoor banner — floor to ceiling across multiple floors — showcasing their four core energy service divisions. The print is precise: crisp typography, colour-accurate photography, and clean section divisions that hold up at reading distance and from across the room. Installed by our team in a single day, no disruption to the office.
A plain prayer hall, transformed — no renovation, no tiling. For this surau, Layang designed, printed, and installed a full large-format wall wrap, turning bare walls into an ornate mihrab feature wall: interlacing Islamic geometry, arched niches, Kufic and thuluth calligraphy panels, and a running dado border to match. Every panel printed on durable wall media, aligned seam-to-seam, and smoothed flat by hand from skirting to ceiling. Just print and precision install — and a space that now feels built for worship.
AmBank's Labuan branch already had the presence — a full corner-wrap fascia — but the lights had died, and a signboard that stays dark at night is a brand that vanishes after sunset. We took on the repair: accessing the existing fascia from the rooftop, stripping out the failed lamps, and re-lamping the entire lightbox run and the 3D box-up "am" rooftop logo with fresh LED tubes. Every section rewired, aligned, and tested for an even, full-strength glow — no structural rebuild needed. The result: the branch reads bright and whole again from the roundabout and the road, AmBank and AmBank Islamic reborn after dark.
Haru Pet Shop wanted a shopfront that popped — clean by day, glowing by night, and carrying its Royal Canin partnership with pride. Layang built the whole sign in-house: we printed the crisp black-and-white cat-and-dog artwork, welded and fabricated the steel lightbox frame, fitted the LED illumination, mounted the printed face, and installed the finished box across the shopfront fascia. It reads sharp in daylight and lights the whole frontage after dark — a full retail signboard printed, built, and hung by one team.
Down a row of identical office units, a flat wall sign disappears — Silverknows Business Management Services needed something you could spot from either end of the corridor. Layang built a double-sided round lightbox blade sign: crisp printed faces on a slim illuminated drum, mounted on a steel wall bracket so it projects out from the wall and reads from both directions. Printed, assembled, and installed by our own team — a clean, professional marker that lifts the whole frontage.
When the Department of Museums Malaysia needed new signage for Muzium Marin Labuan, it had to read as sharply by night as by day — and carry the weight a national institution deserves. We fabricated the full "MUZIUM MARIN LABUAN / Labuan Marine Museum" set as illuminated 3D box-up lettering — every channel built and fitted with LED modules in our Labuan workshop, then wrapped, mounted, and wired across the museum's curved entrance fascia. Two backlit brand discs — the Jata Negara and the museum crest — anchor each end. From a bare wall to a fully lit facade in under a week, fabricated and installed on the island with no mainland lead time.
When Labuan Game Centre became MAIDA ESPORTS, the shopfront had to announce the change the moment you walked past. We stripped the old identity and built the new one end to end: a full-width black lightbox signboard with dimensional 3D box-up lettering that stays crisp under mall lighting, plus a complete glass-front rebrand — frosted window bands, the "Welcome / Business Hours / maidaesports.my" decal, and a side blade sign. Fabricated and installed in-house here in Labuan, turning a tired game shop into an esports hub that finally looks the part.
OMNI Oil Technologies wanted their entrance wall to carry the brand the moment you arrived — clean by day, glowing by night. We ran it end to end from the approved artwork: setting the logo and "OMNI OIL TECHNOLOGIES" lettering out on the wall from a printed template, drilling and pre-wiring for illumination, then mounting the dimensional green box-up logo and letters to exact spec. Finished with concealed LED halo lighting that traces every letter in a soft green glow after dark. From design proof to a backlit landmark — the client's vision, built and lit exactly as drawn.
Deleum's Labuan base needed corporate signage that matched the company's stature — and Layang built the whole thing in-house, from raw sheet to finished facade. We fabricated the deep 3D box-up "DELEUM" lettering and the custom swirl-and-droplet logo in our own workshop — cut, formed, bonded, and sprayed to Deleum's exact corporate red and grey — then boom-lifted the pieces up and mounted them true and level across the building fascia. No outsourcing, no mainland lead time: designed, made, and installed on the island, exactly to the client's brand.
A community hemodialysis centre has to be found fast — clear, calm, and unmistakable from the road. For Pusat Hemodialisis MAIWP-PICOMS, Layang built the fascia sign from the ground up: CNC-cut 3D box-up lettering, set out and fixed to a deep maroon panel, then fitted with white LED modules so the name reads bright by day and glows by night. Fabricated in our Labuan workshop and installed clean across the shopfront fascia — from a blank wall to a landmark the community can spot at a glance.
The Fire & Rescue Station's identity deserved metal, not print — and Layang built it from raw stainless. For Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Labuan Sentral we fabricated the entire nameboard in-house: the full "Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia" emblem cut and finished in stainless with gold detailing, and every letter of "BALAI BOMBA DAN PENYELAMAT · LABUAN SENTRAL" formed as a mirror-polished 3D box-up character with concealed mounting studs. Set out from a template, mounted true across the deep-red base panel, then hoisted up and installed on the station's roofline gable — reading sharp against the sky. Solid stainless, made to outlast the building it names.
Precise brand colour, clean depth, dead-level install — that's what a corporate frontage needs, and what Interwell got. Working from Interwell's exact brand spec (Pantone 273C deep navy), Layang fabricated the full "Interwell" wordmark and logo as 3D box-up lettering: each letter cut, built up, and hand-sprayed to a flawless colour-matched finish in our workshop. Then set out on the building fascia — taped, aligned, and mounted letter by letter from the scaffold so every character sits straight and evenly spaced. From a colour code to a crisp corporate identity on the wall, made and installed in Labuan.
A fabrication yard on the main road needs a sign that owns the skyline day and night — and for Petra Energy's Labuan yard, Layang delivered the full scope. We built the steel support structure and lightbox and erected it on the rooftop with certified rope-access welders, fabricated the "PETRA ENERGY" wording as LED halo-lit 3D box-up letters, and wired the whole run for an even white glow, red arrow logo lit to match. Engineered, welded, and installed to industrial safety standard on a live oil & gas yard — and when the sun drops, "PETRA ENERGY · Petra Fabrication Yard" reads clean from right across the highway.
A new school hall deserves a name board that looks the part and lasts. For Dewan Bambusa at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bebuloh, Layang designed, printed, and fabricated a large aluminium composite panel (ACP) signboard — the school crest, "DEWAN BAMBUSA", and motto laid out on a clean blue-gradient face — then mounted it high on the hall's gable to read across the whole compound. Cut, routed, and finished to spec in our workshop, and installed on site with the fascia work. Built for the sea air: crisp today, crisp in ten years.
A fuel and oil-&-gas operator needs signage that looks corporate and shrugs off the weather — so Layang delivered Petro Seven's full set in aluminium composite panel, in-house from artwork to install. Working from a dimensioned brand layout, we cut and formed the 3D raised lettering and logo, mounted it to ACP panels faced in the exact Petro Seven blue, and built the framed wall nameboards plus the roadside directory gantry shared with Omni Oil Technologies. Every panel routed square, every letter set true — measured, fabricated, and installed across the yard and roadside to stay sharp in Labuan's sea air.
When PETRONAS Chemicals Methanol Sdn Bhd needed its Labuan plant frontage branded to corporate standard, they trusted Layang with the whole job. We fabricated the long perimeter-wall signage in aluminium composite panel — faced in the exact PETRONAS teal, with the full "PETRONAS CHEMICALS METHANOL SDN BHD" wording and logo formed as clean 3D raised lettering — then installed it panel by panel across the boundary wall of a live oil-&-gas facility, our crew in full FR gear to plant safety standard. From a blank white wall to a landmark that reads the length of the road: precision fabrication, working to the exacting standards of a national oil major.
Every government works project needs its papan tanda projek up and standing before the first wall comes down — accurate, weather-proof, and to standard. For Perbadanan Labuan's demolition of the former Hotel Labuan, Layang built the whole board from scratch: colour-matched to the standard orange, panels cut and fabricated, the project particulars and Perbadanan Labuan crest applied slat by slat, then framed on heavy steel legs and installed on site facing Jalan Merdeka. Owner, project, contractor, and dates — every line laid out clean and legible, on the record before work began.
Oil & gas contractors run on a paper trail, and it starts with the project signboard. For HZN Associates (M) Sdn Bhd's Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) change-out at the Labuan Crude Oil Terminal — a Hibiscus Petroleum project — Layang produced the full papan tanda projek from the approved artwork: crisp panels carrying every required particular (site owner, contractor, client, project, contract number, and dates), fabricated in the workshop, then framed on steel posts and installed on site. Clean, legible, and compliant — up and standing before the record was called.
JKR works come with a strict board spec — the right layout, the right particulars, the Membangun Malaysia Madani livery, all readable from the roadside. For the Ministry of Health's completion of the Labuan health-staff quarters (a JKR-administered, Pembinaan Purcon contract), Layang produced the full papan tanda projek to standard: the yellow-and-white JKR board carrying every project particular — client, controlling officers, contractor, and contract dates — fabricated in panels and installed on steel posts on site. Built exactly to the JKR template, up and legible before mobilisation.
Some project boards are a panel on two posts — this one was a civil job. For the Ministry of Education's hostel upgrade at Kolej Vokasional Labuan (a JKR-administered, Premium Maju contract), Layang delivered the full free-standing project signboard from the ground up: setting out and excavating the footings, casting the concrete foundations, fabricating and painting the braced steel superstructure, and boltmounting it dead-plumb before hanging the large JKR "Membangun Malaysia Madani" board. Every particular to the JKR template, every footing to spec — engineered to stand square through the whole build programme and beyond.
When Rancha Power broke ground on its 120MW power plant — a ceremony officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister — Layang produced the entire event build from the ground up. From the approved 3D design, we large-format printed the graphics, fabricated the sculptural entrance archway and decorative panels in our own workshop, then constructed it all on a seaside site: the grand "Majlis Pecah Tanah · 120MW" arch, backdrop, photo features, red carpet, and landscaping — day-ready and lit for the evening. A full VIP event brought to life on the island, on schedule and to government standard.
The Borneo Flora Festival is Labuan's showpiece — and its pavilions had to feel like the rainforest itself. Layang took the "Permata Hutan Borneo · Borneo Rainforest Jewel" theme from blank buildings to finished landmark: we designed original Orang Ulu and Borneo tribal motifs — the tree of life, tropical blooms, woven geometrics — printed them as huge full-colour wall wraps, clad the pavilions in plywood, and skinned every wall panel by panel to wrap the buildings edge to edge. Colour-true, weatherproof, and installed on an event deadline, so that when the gates opened the whole festival ground read as one immersive Borneo tapestry.
The heart of the festival was a Putrajaya-style ceremonial roundel — a giant circular floor mural that visitors gathered around and photographed from above. Layang built it graphic-first: designing the star-mandala artwork with a live flower-garden centre, printing it as wide floor-grade vinyl, then laying it panel by panel across the raised red-rimmed platform, aligned to the centre and squeegeed flat so the twelve-point bloom read perfectly true from ground level and from the drone. Printed and installed overnight against the festival opening — a walk-on centrepiece that anchored the whole ground.
The festival's central plaza needed vertical drama to rise above the gardens — so Layang engineered it from steel up. We designed the towering BFF banner-column artworks (marine-and-coral gradients plus Orang Ulu ceremonial motifs), fabricated the tall steel totem frames with built-in planter rings in our workshop, and erected them on site through the night. Each frame was then skinned in its printed banner column and dressed with cascading orchids, so four-metre totems stood glowing over the flower beds — the vertical signature that gave the whole plaza its skyline.
The festival's Underwater World zone needed a showpiece — so Layang built a giant coral reef from flat board. We drew the branching coral form, panelised it into a numbered jigsaw, and CNC-routed each section clean, then assembled and finished the pieces into one seamless three-metre sculpture. Erected on site among the marigold beds, the white coral let the real flowers bloom through its cut-outs — a hand-made centrepiece that turned a garden corner into a coral garden.
For Labuan's Borneo Arts Festival, the grounds had to guide thousands of visitors at a glance. Layang produced and installed the festival's large-format wayfinding — the full site-map directory board and public-area notices — mounted onto the park's decorative gateway frames. We brought in a lorry crane to hoist the big directory board into place and finished the rest by hand: colour-accurate, weather-ready, and fixed square for a five-day outdoor festival. Printed, delivered, and installed across the venue by our own team.
Every Ramadan, Labuan's bazaars line the roadside — and Perbadanan Labuan needed each one to greet visitors properly. Layang produced and installed the "Selamat Datang · Bazar Ramadan" welcome gateways across multiple bazaar sites: large-format banners in deep blue and gold, with lanterns and mosque arches, mounted on built-up steel frames at each entrance. We fabricated the structures, printed colour-true, and installed on site through the week — squaring each banner tight against the frame, whatever the location. The whole bazaar circuit, branded and ready before the fasting month began.
When Perbadanan Labuan welcomed Ramadan 1445 at Dataran Labuan, the stage needed a centrepiece worthy of the occasion. We printed and rigged the full "Marhaban Ya Ramadan" backdrop — a large-format banner in deep night-blue with gilded lanterns, a crescent moon, and a mosque skyline — colour-true and crisp enough to read clearly from across the square, then mounted it on a truss frame front and centre on the event stage. Printed, delivered, and installed in time for the ceremony, to government standard on an event timeline.
An office wall is prime brand real estate — and Deleum's deserved more than a coat of paint. Layang designed, printed, and installed a full large-format wall-graphic mural across the Deleum office: the company's Mission, Vision, and Core Values laid out in a flowing tonal wave, with die-cut circular photo windows showing the team at work in the field. Printed on premium self-adhesive wall vinyl, cut clean, and applied panel by panel — squeegeed flat and heat-set into every corner so there isn't a bubble or lifted edge in sight. Just print and precision install, and a plain wall becomes a statement every visitor reads.
A vehicle wrap is the largest moving billboard a brand will ever own — and it has to survive sun, rain, and the road without a bubble or a lifted edge. For Pusat Pungutan Zakat (PPZ), we wrapped their mobile zakat-counter fleet end to end: full-colour cast vinyl printed to their exact brand gradient, laid over every curve, seam, and door channel, and finished with scan-ready QR codes and service panels that stay crisp at arm's length or across a car park.
